The title track says it all. Jon Maker’s newest track “Seeker” goes hand in hand with this young artist’s vision. Of classical trainings but framed by the regeneration of no frilled, clarified and distinct electronic music, Maker whipped up the simple grace of modern techno and tech-house, transforming his visions to devilishly catchy sounds that spells play me loud.

Putting influences and sounds together is by no means an easy feat, but Maker has gone a step further by stripping all else apart and putting them back individually . Maker explores the simplicity of tones, sounds, noted basslines and marries them with fascinating melodies, and the result? A driven, stripped down peak track straddling raw energy that we so badly want on the peak time floor.

Keeping true to their form, remixers Rich NxT, Dudley Strangeways & food obsessed Dj Sonny polish off this release with their interpretations. Rich NxT’s mix showcases a true east London take on the infectious groove of deep tech house, stamping his mid-weight feather beats in yet refining manner. Dj Sonny’s rework snaps to our sweet spot with more insistent drum and grooves, subtly unfurling hushy vocals, bleeps and snippets of the original. Dudley Strangeways’s version relates dawn in summer, producing seven minutes of deep warm washed tones. Introducing us into passages of beatless moments with shimmering melodies, Dudley gradually lead us out to the open with the reintroduction of that ever easing bassline, summing up the three remixes which Mighty Rumble is proud to present – swoon deep tech grooves.

Rich NxT’s next single “Kubithing“, will be out officially on 20th December. Along the original version, we have included 4 remixes to give us an ear candy twist. Sebbo (of 2008’s “Watamu Beach” fame – championed by Loco Dice, Luciano, Martin Buttrich and everyone else on the minimal/tech house community till today) teams up with Agent! to deliver a spacey hands up groove, with a clever inputting of vocal snippets with afro-percussion, drums and bells.

Tim Cook delivers his usual hypnotic percussive drums and lazy horn sound, while Mighty Rumble owner Dj Sonny cooks up a quirky “tom in your face” number. Lastly, Narcis Jr. (aka Mashala) insists on a “our mums wont like it but kids will love it” banging techno version.

The 7 tracks release also includes Rich NxT’s Rendition remix of Kubithing and the bonus track – We Write on Myspace.

Two previously unreleased remixes of Dj Sonny’s Ready Salted track. Tim Cook does his quirky groovy little number, filling his remix with percussive samples and an early morning bassline. Tokyo based Discoscience gets our pick for his dancefloor friendly remix. Release date: early October on Word and Sound’s Whatpeopleplay , followed by rest of – Itunes, Beatport, DjDownload, Juno Download and lots more.
